Line Construction
Through its wholly-owned subsidiary NG Gilbert, Townsend provides power line construction services for investor-owned electric utilities, municipal systems, rural electric cooperatives, transmission companies and wind energy developers.
Services provided include:
- Construction and rebuild of transmission lines: 500KV, 230KV, 115KV, 69KV
- All construction types including wood, concrete, and steel pole structures
- Construction and rebuild of substations and interconnects of 500KV, 230KV, 115KV, 69KV and 34.5 KV
- Construction, rebuild, and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution lines
- Construction of energy collector systems for wind energy projects, including overhead, underground and substations
- Storm response and restoration services
NG Gilbert crews are affiliated with the IBEW
